Ranabaali Box Office Collection Day 4: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Film Earns ₹29.45 Crore in India

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Ranabaali witnessed a decline in box-office collections on its first Monday, October 19, after completing its opening weekend in theatres. The film collected an estimated ₹5.40 crore net in India on its fourth day, taking its total domestic net earnings to approximately ₹29.45 crore.

The film, which arrived in cinemas on October 16, recorded a worldwide gross collection of ₹43.85 crore after four days, including earnings from overseas markets. Although the opening weekend brought steady business, the Monday decline has put the film’s performance under closer scrutiny as it enters its first full week.

Ranabaali Day 4 Collection: Monday Sees a Drop

According to trade estimates, Ranabaali earned ₹5.40 crore net across 2,186 shows in India on Monday. The figure represented a decline of around 28% compared with its Sunday collection of ₹7.50 crore.

The film had opened with ₹9.25 crore on Friday, October 16. Collections fell to ₹7.30 crore on Saturday before recovering slightly to ₹7.50 crore on Sunday.

The first Monday is an important indicator for a film because weekday earnings often provide an early indication of whether audience interest can sustain its theatrical run after the opening weekend.

For Ranabaali, the latest figures show that collections have slowed, although the film continues to generate revenue across domestic and international markets.

Worldwide Collection Approaches ₹50 Crore

After four days in theatres, Ranabaali had accumulated approximately ₹29.45 crore in India net collections. Its domestic gross stood at ₹34.35 crore, while overseas markets contributed an estimated ₹9.50 crore in gross earnings.

This brought the worldwide gross total to ₹43.85 crore, placing the film within reach of the ₹50 crore milestone.

The distinction between net and gross collections is important when comparing box-office figures. Domestic net earnings exclude applicable entertainment taxes, while gross figures include them. Worldwide totals also combine reported earnings from India and overseas markets.

The figures remain estimates and may vary as additional box-office data becomes available.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Lead the Cast

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali features Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film is a period drama set against the backdrop of British colonial rule and draws on a historical setting for its narrative.

The project has also attracted attention because it reunites the two actors on screen after their earlier collaborations in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Their pairing has been a major point of interest for audiences following the film’s release.

The film’s period setting and action-driven storyline distinguish it from the contemporary romantic dramas with which the actors have previously been associated.

Mixed Reception Adds Pressure During Week One

Despite interest surrounding its lead cast, Ranabaali has received mixed responses, with criticism directed at aspects of its storytelling and pacing. The response to a film’s narrative can influence word of mouth, particularly after the initial excitement surrounding its release begins to fade.

Its performance during the coming weekdays will therefore be important in determining whether collections stabilise or continue to decline.

A strong hold through the first week could help the film move closer to the ₹50 crore worldwide mark. However, sustained audience interest will be necessary for it to maintain momentum beyond its opening days.

For now, Ranabaali has made a worldwide gross of ₹43.85 crore in four days. Its next challenge will be to convert its opening-weekend audience interest into consistent weekday business and build on its current theatrical total.
